Thanks to the committee for their hospitality and to exhibitors for turning out on one of the worst weekends of the year. The weather was appalling and travelling conditions were very difficult. Nevertheless I was pleased with my line up.

MPD (1) Greenan and Hopewell’s Lochlorien No Offence Juleset. Well built, strong young boy of 8 ½ months. Good neck and shoulders. Nice length. Well muscled rear end and moved soundly. BPD and BP.

MPB (5 2a) 1 Hall’s Glennara Cherry Cola. Pretty 8 ½ month old bitch. Sweet expression. Good front and spring of rib. Good rear angulation. Moved correctly and steadily. 2 Wharton’s Glennara Eight Bells of Jennison. Litter sister to 1. Not as settled but nice to go over. With more training should do well. 3 Jarvis’ Settersay Sapphire.

PD (2) 1 Lochlorien No Offence Juleset. 2 Corless’ Swiftlark Invincible Taller boy but well made. Good head and angulation. Not as positive on the move as 1 today.

PB (5 2a) 1 Hall’s Glennara Cherry Cola. 2 Swiftlark Illustrious. Another nice young bitch of 10 months. Pretty head. Good body. Moved well. 3 Kassube and French’s Twoacres Chocolate Delight

JD (1) Corless’ Swiftlark Invincible.

JB (5 1a) Heather’s Sixoaks My Fair Lady. Lovely to go over. No exaggeration. Lovely head. Good straight front well angulated. Good top line. Moved very well. RBB 2 Fox and Fider’s Kerryfair Heart To Heart. Unlucky to meet 1. Another nice bitch. Pretty head. Good shoulder placement, well muscled, moved well. 3 Jones’ Redclyst Flora’s Secret.

SYD (3 2a) Kemp’s Follybank Fire Flare. Nice head. Good front and angulation. Good topline. Could do with more weight.

SYB (6 4a) 1 Shepherd’s Glenvarna Cover Girl. Pretty head. Nice cobby body. Good angulation. Strong quarters moved well. 2 Steven’s Follybrook Firefly. Bigger girl but nicely made. Good head and body. Not as steady as 1.

ND (3 1a) 1 Corless’ Swiftlark Spellbinder. Nice masculine head. Good straight front. Deep chest and good rib. Good bend of stifle and tailset. Moved well. 2 Kemp’s Follybank Fire Flare.

NB (10 5a) 1 Swiftlark Illustrious. 2 Jones’ Redclyst Flora’s Secret. Nice feminine head. Good body and hindquarters. Moved OK. 3 Steven’s Follybrook Firefly.

UGD (2 1a) Swiftlark Spellbinder

UGB (6 2a) 1 Swiftlark Illustrious 2 Bentley’s Tredura Roselyn at Penclippin. Pretty head. Good topline and tailset. Moved OK. 3 Child’s Romarne Enchanted

GD (2) 1 Cohen’s Lynwood Merry May King With Shushona . Lovely head. Balanced outline and topline. Nice dark eyes and kind expression. Well angulated without exaggeration. Moved very well. RBD. 2 Davison’s Bardonhill You Don’t Fool Me longer cast but nicely made. Good front and body. Not as steady as 1.

GB (9 5a) 1 Kassube’s Twoacres Fantasy. Lovely head. Good straight front. Arched neck into well laid shoulders. Well handled and shown in gleaming condition. Moved Really well. 2 Blackshaw’s Lanstara Ruby Slippers. Another lovely girl. Unlucky to meet 1 on such top form with little to separate them. Very pretty head. Good topline. Well bodied. Correct fore and aft. 3 Bentley’s Tredura Roselyn at Penclippin

PGD (5 2a) Hopewell’s Blazing Bronze I Beg Your Pardon. Nice masculine head and expression. Good strong body and hindquarters. Moved soundly but a little proud of his tail today. 2 French’s Diervilla Zen Power (Imp Pol.) Handsome head. Well-made body. Deep chest and good spring of rib. Well coated. Not quite as positive on the move as 1 today. 3 Jarvis’ Lowden Too Darn Hot.

PGB (4 2a) 1 Heather’s Sixoaks Leading Lady Very pretty lady. Good neck and shoulders. Good body. I see she is the mother of RBB so similar remarks apply. Moved very steadily. 2 Fox’s Kerryfair Special Diamond close up to 1. Nice head. Good front and angulation front and back. Good topline moved well.

LD (2 1a) Russell’s Lynwood Hocus Pocus At Settesoli JW. Stood alone but well deserved first place. Beautiful head and expression. Elegantly made. Balanced in outline. Good angulation front and rear. Sound positive mover should have a bright future. BD and BIS.

LB 1 Hall’s Glennara Cilleigne Dervla (IKC) JW. Pretty head. Straight in front with good spring of rib. Well made but a little lethargic on the move today.

OD (2 1a) Russell’s Strathmead Huckleberry At Settesoli. Handsome dog with correct head plane. Balanced in outline and with good angulation. Moved well.

OB (1 1a)

VD 1 Mohan’s Anlory Keltic Legend nicely made mature dog but a handful for his owner today. So well done.

VB (5 3a)

1 Blackshaw’a Lanstara Spring Star JW. Lovely well-made bitch of seven years. She wears them lightly. Beautiful head and expression good angulation and topline moved steadily and true BV BB and RBIS. 2 Kassube and French’s Balyntine Just You Just Me. pretty bitch finer than one but well-made well handled and move nicely.
